I am on vacation this week. Nothing planned really. I rode with The Shed Master and clan yesterday. A special appearance was made by this cat. Tuesday I hit the river trails. The new sections are coming in nicely. Monday I hit the Y . Body Pump, cross-trainer, treadmill.
I threw a tune-up at the Blazer Tuesday, cap, rotor, wires. I also did a brake job on my brothers Honda. I had all the parts here for the tune-up. The brake job I had to go get the parts for. The tune-up took longer, drew blood and raised my blood pressure.
I have been working on cars for many years, here's a couple things I have taken note of:
The Japs use grease and/or anti-seize on the bolts they install, they come apart with ease. The exception to this rule is Russell.
GM has it's own double top secret formula I believe they call Seize-All. One drop of this stuff and you need a smoke-wrench to get a screw out of Styrofoam. And yet, these cars still rattle like one of those pissed off snakes that dead crocodile douche-bag was always monkeyin' with. I don't get it.
Those engineers at GM need to be flogged. If I was to build a crappy car I would at least make it easy to work on. No wonder GM is floundering. On a side note, I have an older Ford Ranger that I trust more than my newer Blazer.
The snow blower dilemma is fixed, I found one on craigslist. 100 bucks, needs a little work. Now that I have one it won't snow. Too all of you I say "You're welcome".

The week in review
It was a good week, 2 night rides and a Saturday morning ride.
Tuesday night I went down to the village and hooked up with the Alterra crew. In attendance were a bunch of Alterra guys, a few Hayes guys, a couple of Team Extreme guys and a Skinny's guy that was sportin' his new firefighter mustache. It was a beautiful night for me to get dropped again, so I did.
Thursday was another beautiful night to get dropped, so I did. During the ride we stopped so Russell could bury his rat in a strange hole.
Friday I went to the Y. I started doing squats and leg presses as I slide into winter mode. The first ones of the season hurt. A couple of weeks of hurt then it'll be all good.
Saturday I did the morning ride from Wheel & Sprocket Hales Corners that leaves at 9:30 am. It was a hard ride, see Friday.

I have writers block. Oh wait, that would be for someone who had something to write about.
I am going to the Badgers game on Saturday. I have never been to a game at Camp Randall. I saw Phil Collins and The Black Crowes there about 12 years ago, that's the only time I have been in that stadium. Anyway,I hear it can get pretty wild so it should be cool.
I have been to the Y a few times. Last trip there I saw Mr. Topheavy. He looks like he could bench press a Buick, but he is standing on what appear to be flesh covered pencils. He also wears the kind of shorts that I have heard referred to as "grape smugglers". I'm certain this guy hangs out at your gym too.
I helped Boooran do some wiring at his house. He hasn't called to say the place burned down or that he can't wipe his ass and hold a flashlight at the same time, so it must be good.
