I may make this a regular thing.

I went to St. Louis for a couple of days. Went to the top of the Gateway Arch, it's tall. I also received a free ticket to a Cardinals game. They played the Brewers that night so there was an added bonus.

The attic project has taken a hiatus for the summer. But, it's coming along nicely.

Anne has been teaching Pilates to the cats. They're naturals.

I can take a hint.

I have taken on a home improvement project. With a significant amount of help from Bubba I hope to turn our attic in to usable space. I am in no hurry to get it done, so right vs. fast is the way we are going about it. This will be a nice place for a TV and our trainers when it's done. At the rate I update this blog, there should be considerable progress before I post more pictures.

The remodeling has required a few trips to the city dump. Safety is clearly a priority, while spelling is not.

City employees apparently stay safe through the use of cigarettes and cell phones. Clustering together and avoiding all of those pesky tax-paying "residents" is another protection method they employ. After only a few minutes of observing, I came to the conclusion that the city dump must be the safest "workplace" ever.

I took this picture only because I found this mannequin to be particularly disturbing to me. It just ain't right.

Cisco said he is planning world domination. I said, "You can't even open a can of tuna or mouse entrails or whatever that crap is". He said, "You'll be the first one I crush, dipwad".

I have decided

I made the decision on whom I shall vote for. Although, I can still be bought for a pound of baconny goodness.

Bacon, is there anything it can't do?

Who should I vote for?

Generally by this time in an election year I know who I will be casting my ballot for ,not so this time around. But, I have narrowed it down to two choices. They are:

Barack Obummer this is way harder than I thought it was gonna be!

or

John Mcaint gonna be able to fix this busted ass Bush mess!

Perhaps I should just e-bay my vote?

Where were YOUR punk kids last night?

Last night at about 2:45am one of the neighborhood toughs decided to throw a rock this through our kitchen window. It was loud and woke us up out of a sound sleep.

This picture shows the rock used to perpetrate the crime. At first I thought it was a meteorite and we would be able to sell it to science for at least enough money (and some fame) to by a new window. Anne however burst my bubble by pointing out that this was not a meteorite at all but merely a rock from the decaying City of Milwaukee street that runs alongside our house. At 2:50 in the morning her train of thought is way more clear than mine.
Even the apparitions were awoken.

While we waited for the police(only 15 minutes) our neighbor came over and said the same thing happened at their house. Coincidence, I don't think so.

The trails are preeeemo!!!!

Anne and I went down to look at the raging river. This picture was taken at the pedestrian bridge at Hoyt park.We had a conversation that went something like this:
Me: I could ride that.
Anne: No you can't, dumb ass.
Me: Hell ya I could!. If you are going to use that tone of voice, it's Mr. Dumb Ass to you.
Anne: Am I your beneficiary?
Me: Yes.
Anne: Go nuts, Chucklehead.
